About Me

I now have over a decade of experience working to promote artists – particularly musicians and writers – spanning time with record labels, agencies, event promoters, and venues. I’m driven to find the best new ways to help you stand out, be they cunningly complex or, even better, beautifully simple. This is where my freelance projects under Above The Static come into play.

I’ve been happily married to my infinitely better half Jen (it’s more like 2/3 her, let’s be honest) for seven happy years and we’re excitedly expecting our first child in 2012. We live in Brooklyn, though I originally hail from the United Kingdom and, if forced to choose, would call Liverpool ‘home’. Everywhere I’ve chosen to live has had a vibrant, energetic music and arts scene, which has always served to fuel my commitment to supporting independent creators.
